# Can't run new version on Windows 10

Hi, I notice that your GHC version is 9.2.4 which on Windows is not compatible with Tidal 1.9. More details in [TidalCycles version 1.9.0 - Announcements - Tidal Club](https://club.tidalcycles.org/t/tidalcycles-version-1-9-0/4292). I have opened [Bump GHC version and unpin by Zalastax · Pull Request #8 · tidalcycles/tidal-chocolatey (github.com)](https://github.com/tidalcycles/tidal-chocolatey/pull/8) to address this in the Chocolatey installer.
