# How to remove Atom compile error red pop ups?

I feel a tad silly asking this, seems like it should be so easy, but I can't find any info on how to I turn OFF the red error pop-ups in Atom?

It gets to be too much when it's just reporting every single latency issue, swarms the side of the screen while I'm coding and then I have to manually exit out of them all, a nightmare for a live coding performance situation.

You can disable them in configuration, it's written in the plugin readme:

this is all I see when I open up "Config..." from the "Atom" tab at the top of Atom. I've checked settings, no idea where to find where to disable it.

You can see the plugin configuration pressing `CTRL+,` and search for tidalcycles in the `plugins` tab
