Hi everyone,

A cousin of live coding, built with a graph rather than code: NodaLab. Scales, chords, Euclidean rhythms and phrases are nodes; operators transpose, stretch, reverse or canon them, and the graph keeps playing as you rewire it.

Two pieces in the demo you might enjoy (no account):

- Steve Reich's Piano Phase, rebuilt from nodes: [Demo · NodaLab](https://nodalab.app/demo.html#/collection/composing/piano-phase)

How it looks while building, a backing track wired from scratch (8 min, with sound):

With a free account, graphs can be shared and taken apart by others: a profile, people to follow, groups for a class or a band, private messages, a discussion under each project and a forum.

It's a free alpha, and I'd be curious how it feels to people who write patterns in code.

Val
