Finally I came up with a first basic version of a new looper in TidalCycles!

I uploaded the code on my [Github page](https://github.com/thgrund/tidal-looper/)

What I did so far:

1. Record a buffer with a dynamic size based on the length of a pattern (controllable with the mini-notation)
2. Choose a specific buffer (from 0 to 7)
3. Change the input port (I use Blackhole - the input and output ports are equal so I can record my channel results)
4. Resetting the buffer
5. Sending OSC message with the record status

You can find a demo video where I demonstrate all of these here:

What I am still loosely planning to implement are more complex looper variants with the following features:

1. Quantizing
2. Customizable buffer names
3. Pitch correction
4. Smooth transition between buffers
5. Multiple Inputs
6. Appending multiple buffers (so you can use the function "n")
7. [Optional] Treshold based recording (maybe this is not practical?)

I would be very happy to receive feedback and ideas!
